Show Notes

May is National Mental Health Month and to honor that we are featuring survivors and organizations that advocate for and serve survivors through mental health services.

Martha didn't tell anyone she had been assaulted as a child until she was an adult. She went to therapy and things got harder. After encouragement from her family, she applied for and attended the Younique Foundation's Haven Retreat. She credits the Haven Retreat with not only saving her life but saving the lives of dozens of other people she has helped and encouraged to receive mental health services as a result of that.
